SHS Lower Elementary Division opens the door to our children’s educational journey at the Elementary level. The Lower Elementary school years are the foundation upon which the pillars of academic excellence, character development, and life-long learning are laid.
Grades 1, 2, and 3 Lebanese and American programs are offered at the Lower Elementary Division. Students develop a deep understanding of fundamental concepts across various subjects, including English, Arabic (LP or AP), French, Mathematics, Science, Catechism, ICT, Music, Art, P.E. and Sagessian Life Skills (SLS).
In addition to academics, we place great emphasis on the social and emotional well-being of our students by engaging them in curricular and extra-curricular activities. Various activities and events are organized throughout the year as our aim is to ignite curiosity, communication, and creativity for a sparkling learning experience.
In collaboration with the subject departments, Special Education Department, Christian Life Department, and Active Citizen Program, our team works to foster a warm and nurturing environment for all our students to feel comfortable and confident in achieving their full potential. In partnership with parents, we work to ensure this holistic development of all our children.
In addition, academic support can be offered at the afterschool tutoring center. Lower Elementary students also have the option of joining afterschool activities on campus such as mini- football, basketball, boxing, gymnastics, hip hop, and robotics…
In conclusion, each day at the Lower Elementary Division holds a new opportunity to instill a love of learning in our students that will accompany them throughout their academic journey and beyond.
Looking forward to celebrating together the growth and achievements of our young learners during their years at the Lower Elementary Division!
