CIRCULAR ACTIVITIES DEPT. No 03/AY 19-20

Dear Parents and Students,
In view of the circumstances we faced as a school in the last couple of weeks, please find below the modifications made to CIRCULAR ACTIVITIES DEPT. No 01/AY 19-20 concerning the afterschool activities offered for our students during the 2019-2020 academic year:
Students are required to participate in one activity per week, from 3:00 p.m. until 4:15 p.m. starting Monday, November 18, 2019.
"Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 4:6-7
This morning, SHS Rector, Father Joe Daccache, celebrated mass at the new Chapel in Block A. Parents, teachers, and students attended the early mass to pray for Lebanon as they turned all their worries and problems over to God.
CAS - World Food Day Bike Ride Against Hunger and Food Waste
In the occasion of World Food Day, IBDP II students participated in a bike ride against hunger and food waste on October 16, 2019, as part of their CAS programs. They biked with 100 participants from other schools for two hours around Beirut.

Dear Parents of IBDP II Students,
Kindly be informed that regular classes (7:45 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.) will resume for the IBDP II students as of Tuesday, November 5, 2019 regardless whether the whole school is open or not.
In case the school is not open, parents are kindly asked to provide transportation for their son/daughter as school buses will not be running.

This is to inform you that the Secondary 3 LS/GS/SE students will sit for a test on Saturday, October 19, 2019 according to the following schedule

Grade 2’s Friendship Tree
“How would you define friendship? Is your definition real or imagined?” During English classes, Grade 2 students were able to answer those two inquiry questions through a friendship tree activity where all the values of friendship were displayed through leaves.
