Let’s Talk About Mental Health!
Sagesse High School is delighted to announce that it will be launching a school-wide mental health campaign at the beginning of the 2018-2019 academic year.
The aim of the campaign will be to increase understanding about mental health and to work together to promote the mental health of students, teachers, parents, and staff.
As part of the campaign, SHS will also be implementing a comprehensive mental health program which will aim to increase mental health support and resources for teachers, parents, and students.
We know that mental health is a sensitive topic, but it is also incredibly important.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), mental health is defined as:
“a state of well-being in which every individual realizes his or her own potential, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to her or his community.”
This is why SHS sees mental health as an important priority to address in order to help our students thrive.
Further information about the campaign will be released soon.
