Friday, February 28, 2020

Dear Parents,

Please read through this circular carefully as it contains important information.

Restoring the Original School Schedule

We have come to the decision to cancel the extension of the school day and go back to the regular school day schedule (until 2:30 pm) starting Monday, March 2, 2020.

This decision has come after listening to the general feedback of teachers and a good number of parents as well as after taking into consideration the overall needs, performance levels, and school life of our students and teachers over the past two weeks.

As a result, and in order to compensate for lost school days this academic year, Tuesday, April 14 and Wednesday, April 15, 2020 (during Easter Vacation) are regular school days. Moreover, the end of the school year could also be extended.

Please note that IBDP 1’s old schedule will apply and their school day will still end at 3:30 pm.

We would like to reiterate that the wellbeing and successful performance of our students will always constitute our main priority. We appreciate your trust, understanding, and your cooperation all for the sake of our students and school.

Accreditation Response Letter

We are excited to announce that our Sagesse High School has recently received commendation for growth and improvement through our Mid-Term Report from the Middle States Association Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools (MSACESS). This is just one more assurance of the quality education our school provides our children!

Your support and cooperation, as well as the hard work and sacrifice of many, lie at the heart of this success.

We thank our Lord for equipping us with the teachers, staff, resources, and especially a Planning Team whose members have shown unwavering commitment and dedication, in order for us to reach these high standards of excellence.

Congratulations to the entire Sagesse High School community for this achievement and may we keep up our great work.

PS: Below is a copy of the MSA letter received by the school.
