CIRCULAR GENERAL No 06/AY 19-20
Teacher's Day is celebrated as a tribute to the valuable contribution made by teachers to the society and a recognition of the role they play in the development of young students.
This Teacher’s Day, let us teach our children that gratitude is reflected through respect and that words of appreciation mean more than a gift!
For that, the Administration would like to inform you that the school has adopted a no-gift policy to avoid any conflict of interest or ethical debates.
Hence, no valuable gifts - especially gifts of great value - will be accepted by any teacher or employee at SHS, at any time, on or off the school premises.
This no-gift policy includes food, beverages, meals, business cards, gift vouchers, or any product discount or any other benefit, if the benefit is not extended to all teachers.
However, students can still write thank you notes, certificates, or offer their own handmade crafts or cards to express their recognition, love and gratitude towards their teachers.
We expect all parents to respect this policy and not purchase and deliver any gift for our teachers, or any member of our faculty and staff.
Thank you for your cooperation.
