CIRCULAR CHRISTIAN LIFE DEPARTMENT N. 1/AY 19-20
The outbreak of the novel Coronavirus has affected us physically, mentally, and spiritually. Now, everyone is practicing social distancing and taking all necessary preventative measures. Children study in virtual classrooms, and employees are urged to work from home. To support its students, SHS has offered mental support to its students by resuming its school counseling services.
As a Catholic school, we are entrusted to nurture the whole child by providing education and formation that promote his/her intellectual, academic, spiritual, emotional, and social development. And since spiritual counseling deals with interpersonal needs, two spiritual counselors, Father Joseph Soueid and Father Fady Khawand are available to dedicate quality time for attentive listening and counseling for our community; students, parents, faculty, and staff, in a virtual setting using Zoom. They are also ready to hold in-person meetings, upon request, at school.
To schedule a session, please send an email to book a time slot and specify whether you choose to attend an in-person session at school or a virtual session via Zoom (then the Zoom Personal ID will be e-mailed to you).
Please note that the email sent by you is considered as your consent to your child’s participation in the counseling session where confidentiality and all standards enumerated in the school counseling policy will be respected.
