CIRCULAR ACTIVITIES No. 15/AY 19-20
Dear Parents of Secondary 3, IBDP II, and 12 A.P.,
Sagesse High School, in collaboration with Lebanon Skiing Group, is organizing a ski trip to Kfardebian from Friday, February 7, 2020 until Sunday, February 9, 2020.
Students will be staying at the Tamer-Land Faraya Hotel and will be accompanied by Mr. Labib Waked, Mr. David Haykal, and SHS supervisors/teachers. However, it is worth mentioning that the parents assume full responsibility for their son/ daughter and neither SHS nor Lebanon Skiing Group will be responsible for the unsafe or inappropriate conduct of the students throughout this trip. To this extent, in case of unsafe or inappropriate conduct the concerned student(s) will be sent home without refunding the money.
The cost of the ski trip is LBP 600,000 per person and includes full accommodation (2 nights in large rooms fitted with 3 to 4 beds, three meals per day), two days skiing, ski equipment, ski pass, instructors (one instructor for every 5 students), insurance, activities, and transportation.
Students who sign up for the ski trip will leave school at 12:50 p.m. on Friday, February 7, 2020. Students will return to school at around 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 9, 2020. Parents are kindly asked to provide transportation for their son/daughter from SHS on Sunday afternoon.
On another note, a one-day ski trip will also be organized on Saturday, February 8, 2020. The cost of the one-day ski trip is LBP 210,000. Students will leave school at 7:00 a.m. and return to school at 4:30 p.m. (Price includes transportation, snacks, lunch, ski equipment, ski pass, insurance, monitors and assistants) Mr. George Andraos (03/458260) will accompany the students going on the one-day trip.
In addition to the ski suit, your child will need the following items: sun protection cream for face and lips, sun glasses/ski goggles, snow shoes, helmet, gloves, hat, long socks, extra change of clothes, pajamas, underclothes, toothbrush and toothpaste, etc. Students are not allowed to bring any electronic devices. Organizers and SHS assume no liability for the theft, loss, or damage of personal belongings or items.

Parents who wish to register their son/daughter are kindly asked to fill in the registration form (distributed to students) and have their son/daughter submit it to the Accounting Department by Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at the latest with the required amount of money.
In case of bad weather on the above mentioned dates, the ski trip will be postponed. The school reserves the right to cancel the trip depending on the number of registered students.
N.B. No reimbursement will be made unless the school decides to cancel the trip.
