Dear SHS Community,
It has been great to welcome you all back on campus this academic year. After long and enforced social distancing and confinement at home, I am glad that we are back to the somehow normal school routine of on-site teaching and learning. The COVID-19 pandemic has been impacting our lives for the past two years and has had its toll on our educational journey, yet it has highlighted the importance of face-to-face teaching and learning and has taught us to cherish human interactions and relations and their invaluable benefit to our mental health and wellbeing. As a school, we always strive to provide our students with a safe environment where they can thrive and grow as well-rounded individuals. I encourage my students to reflect on and learn from past experiences while moving forward with optimism and hope for a brighter future. I am convinced that resilience and commitment will enable us to succeed despite the difficult circumstances that we have been going through. The key to success is teamwork in a united team whose members collaborate and cooperate together for the benefit of each and every member in the team. So let us all, students, parents, faculty, and staff, rise to the challenge and work “Together in Perfect Unity” and with God’s help and His blessings, we will surely prevail and succeed this academic year.
