The Business Management course focuses on the development of critical thinking, analytical and decision-making skills in relation to individuals and groups. These skills are applied in an international context. This course is designed to develop students’ knowledge and understanding of business tools, theories and techniques, and to apply this knowledge in a variety of practical business situations.
The course relates the topics of the different business functions of human resource management, finance and accounts, marketing, and operations management. Students develop an all-inclusive understanding of the complex and dynamic business environment through the study of the six supporting concepts (change, culture, ethics, globalization, innovation, and strategy). The conceptual learning is embedded in the application of the different business tools, theories and techniques in the context of actual world events and case studies.
